How Zynga Recruits, Screens and Keeps Great People
“Leaders of great companies that go from good to great start not with “where” but with “who.” They start by getting the right people on the bus, the wrong people off the bus, and the right people in the right seats.” Colleen McCreary is a seasoned veteran with over a decade of experience in shaping and staffing some of the largest companies. She has a strong focus on creating a culture of creative people with a strong emphasis on keeping them well motivated and happy. Her manta, “If you don’t like it, make it better for someone else” resonates within Zynga and is a significant factor why Zynga’s games are so popular. She structured the entire diversity initiative for a university relations program for EA and also spent 7 years as a Microsoft senior technical recruiter. In her talk titled, “How to recruit, screen and keep great talent”, Colleen walks through common issues companies have while they are growing and key issues that can make or break them. 5 Responses to “How Zynga Recruits, Screens and Keeps Great People”Leave a Reply |

thanks for taking the time. enjoyed it. BUT, my GOD, i’ve never heard the sloppy speaking term ’sort of’ used more times by one person, EVER. my ears started to bleed. you might help yourself in life by trimming down the ’sort of’s..
sorry to be ‘that guy’ who makes the potentially offensive comment.. its not meant to be.
best,
Michael
