The core value of BizTech is about connecting entrepreneurs so seek out sponsors that align with this goal.
Rules for sponsorships
- BizTech sponsors may NOT present from the main stage.
- Approval: Before you approach any sponsors, you must get approval from BizTech HQ. Send BizTech HQ a list of the sponsors you would like to approach, and how you would like them to be involved.
- Number of sponsors: It’s easiest to have one sponsor, rather than multiple sponsors.
What you can offer sponsors
- Verbal acknowledgment and “thank you” to the sponsor from the stage
- Transition slides with sponsor logo/s during breaks
- Logo/s and/or write up about the sponsor in the printed program
- A “sponsored meal”: An announcement that a meal/snack or drinks was provided by the sponsor
- A gift/party favor from the sponsor to all the attendees
- A short demo of 5 minutes maximum given by the sponsor to exhibit a new technology, service or product.
What you cannot offer
- Product advertisements or on-stage presentation by sponsors.
- Editorial control: Sponsors have no editorial control or veto power over the program, nor do they have the right to time on stage. No one can pay to be included in the program; speakers are chosen by merit only.
